On today's Heart Of Mind Radio, host Kathryn Davis continues to share about the Peace and Unity Movement. We focus on the contribution of the arts and the artist as a fundamental component of moving forward. As Rick Ulfick, co-creator of 11 Days of Global Unity – 11 Ways to Change the World says: Music and the Arts help to Inspire, Inform and Involve”.
Joining the program are: Rick Ulfick; founder of We, the World, co creator of 11 Days of Global Unity; Kristin Hoffmann, singer, songwriter, musician, whose composition “Song for the Ocean” was performed at the Sidney Opera House by a choir of 800 Australian children; and Kaeshi Chai, artist, teacher and co-founder of BellyQueen dance school and PURE (Public Urban Ritual Experiment, a global community focused on empowerment and social change through dance.

Rick Ulfik is the Founder of We, The World and the WE Campaign at WE.net. We, The World is a global coalition-building organization that annually connects and promotes thousands of socially conscious organizations and businesses to generate public awareness and action for peace, sustainability and transformation.
Rick is the Co-Creator of the annual 11 Days of Global Unity - 11 Ways to Change the World. Launched in 2004 by We, The World and global partners, 11 Days of Global Unity is a platform for changemakers worldwide that annually includes as many as 700 associated events in over 60 countries. Participants have included Desmond Tutu, Jane Goodall, Deepak Chopra, Eve Ensler, Daniel Ellsberg, Marianne Williamson, Ralph Nader, as well as Amnesty International, Oxfam America, United Religions Initiative, Earthdance, The Shift Network, The Compassion Games and many others.
Kristin Hoffmann is a Julliard trained singer-songwriter-musician with extraordinary artistic range. Her music has been heard on major record labels, film and television, and she has performed throughout the world, collaborating with musical luminaries on projects ranging from individual albums to grand symphonic productions.
A strong advocate for peace and ocean conservation, Kristin has appeared internationally at environmental concerts and conventions, TEDx San Francisco, The Emoto Peace Project concert in Tokyo, and with The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra in London. In August, 2016, the symphonic version of her "Song for the Ocean" was performed at Sydney Opera House by a choir of 800 Australian children. In 2011 she became the singer for Bella Gaia, a multimedia theater experience created in conjunction with NASA. Kristin writes a monthly song and blog for Gandhi's BE Magazine, addressing worldly issues through the vehicle of music.

Kaeshi Chai is an artist and teacher who co-founded Bellyqueen, a professional dance company and school, and PURE (Public Urban Ritual Experiment), a global community focused on empowerment and social change through dance. She has performed and taught extensively internationally, and is an alumni member of the Bellydance Superstars, Jillina’s Bellydance Evolution and Kenji William's Bella Gaia.
One of her all time joys is dancing to live music. In addition to years on stages from Las Vegas and beyond, from 2007-2017 she curated the weekly Djam Under Jebon event for dancers and musicians to create and play together in the East Village of NYC.
She teaches at the Bellyqueen School of Dance, leads creative labs using Sprint methodology to create full length theatrical dance shows in 3-4 days and curates the annual PURE Conference. Her mission is to explore the transformative power of dance and theatre to cultivate deeper connections between people.
