Sharon Smith, with 46 years of Qigong and Tai Chi practice and 41 years of teaching, is a seasoned Taoist practitioner. Trained by masters like Mantak Chia and Li Junfeng, she holds certifications from the Universal Tao system and the International Sheng Zhen Society. Furthering her expertise, she studied at China's Wudang Martial Arts Academy and practiced Iyengar Yoga for over 35 years. Smith has traveled extensively, hosted and presented The Shift Network's Qigong summits, and founded The Immortal Sisters Foundation to support women in Taoist arts. Marie Favorito is the founder and director of Universal Tao Boston, a vibrant community hub for Qigong, Tai Chi, and Taoist meditation. With over 40 years of Taoist practice, she brings deep experience and heart to every class and event. A Senior Instructor in the Universal Healing Tao, Marie has led international workshops, contributed to Harvard’s Tai Chi cardiac rehab program, and shared her teachings at global summits hosted by the Shift Network. Jamee Culbertson integrates Taoist practices, Alexander Technique, and spiritual healing for transformative experiences. She teaches Tai Chi, Qigong, and Taoist Meditation at Universal Tao Boston. 1 An internationally certified Alexander Technique instructor, she trains teachers at Berklee College and Harvard Medical School’s Osher Center, contributing to research on Tai Chi's benefits for heart and lung conditions. Kathryn Davis is certified to teach Qigong and certified in the practice of Qigong Healing Techniques, from OCOM, The Oregon College of Oriental Medicine. She has studied with and has been certified to teach qigong, by the Qigong Masters of several forms. Among them are Soaring Crane, Jade Body, Essence, Turtle Longevity, and the Super Energy Method, Clapping Hands Qigong. Kathryn has pioneered several Qigong programs including Qigong Self-Care, Qigong Inner Fitness, and Early Rising Qigong.
