On today's Heart Of Mind Radio for the NEW Millennium host Kathryn Davis is joined by Alain Martin, Director of The Forgotten Occupation, a dynamic film about the US domination over the country of Haiti. Inspired by the stories his grandfather never told him: Brunel Martin came of age during Haiti’s brutal occupation at the hands of United States Marines. Yet, he went on to become a fierce advocate of the country that destroyed him. A decade after his death, his grandson writes him a letter trying to reconcile the contradictions.
