Rick is the Co-Creator of the annual 11 Days of Global Unity - 11 Ways to Change the World. Kristin Hoffmann is a Julliard trained singer-songwriter-musician with extraordinary artistic range. A strong advocate for peace and ocean conservation, Kristin has appeared internationally at environmental concerts and conventions, TEDx San Francisco, The Emoto Peace Project concert in Tokyo, and with The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra in London. In August, 2016, the symphonic version of her "Song for the Ocean" was performed at Sydney Opera House by a choir of 800 Australian children. In 2011 she became the singer for Bella Gaia, a multimedia theater experience created in conjunction with NASA. Kristin writes a monthly song and blog for Gandhi's BE Magazine, addressing worldly issues through the vehicle of music.

Kaeshi Chai is an artist and teacher who co-founded Bellyqueen, a professional dance company and school, and PURE (Public Urban Ritual Experiment), a global community focused on empowerment and social change through dance. She has performed and taught extensively internationally, and is an alumni member of the Bellydance Superstars, Jillina’s Bellydance Evolution and Kenji William's Bella Gaia.

One of her all time joys is dancing to live music. In addition to years on stages from Las Vegas and beyond, from 2007-2017 she curated the weekly Djam Under Jebon event for dancers and musicians to create and play together in the East Village of NYC.

She teaches at the Bellyqueen School of Dance, leads creative labs using Sprint methodology to create full length theatrical dance shows in 3-4 days and curates the annual PURE Conference. Her mission is to explore the transformative power of dance and theatre to cultivate deeper connections between people.

Monica Willard is the Main UN Representative and charter member of the United Religions initiative (URI), the largest grass roots interfaith organization with members in 107 countries. Monica's activities at the UN began in 1991 and include: chair of the 49^th annual DPI/NGO Conference, working wit the Department of Public Information (DPI) on the annual International Day of Peace Student Obserbance at the UN since 1997; member of the Tripartite Forum on Interfaith Cooperation for Peace and Development with UN Member States, UN Agencies and Religious NGO's (2005-2010); President of the Committee of Religious NGO's at UN (2011-13) and Founder and current Co-Chair of the International Day of Peace NGO Committee at the UN. She received the 2010 Spirit of the UN Award from the Committee of Spirituality, Values and Global Concersns – NY. Monica has worked with Rick Ulfick and We The World for many years.

Pleasure and Boredom

by Kathryn Davis

I experience both the pleasure and boredom of being completely awake.

Not to claim there are no more potent expressions of wakefulness.

Like everything, there is a spectrum to its reality.

Nevertheless.

I AM AWAKE!

Moment to moment living in the act of awareness,

cognizant and open to that which is operational within my existence.

The drops of rain.

The scent of a cat's butt.

The sound of traffic.

The rivers of feeling, coursing through my veins.

The thoughts that impose and threaten to control the tender moments,

by casting it's net.

…Fisher of the soul.

Even time... that which does not exist, except through illusion, delusion or imposition.

The voice of multiple existence, in complex spectrum, inter-lapping and influencing the design...

in the act of creation.

We are the past. There is no future... just yet.

There are no gods. Except of our own creation.
