concert and Robert Demetrius Griffin (LaG ’89) will be the Alumni Music
Director and Choir Coordinator. The concert will honor Anthony Evans
(M&A ’79), who wrote the groundbreaking song “Never Alone” featured
in the movie FAME while a student at Music
& Art. This song, among many other favorites, will be performed. The
evening will recognize noted directors, teachers, and students who have

Anthony G. Evans:
The incredibly talented Anthony G. Evans has been a musical force on the New York Gospel Scene since 1979. Since then he has performed in 21 countries around the world, including Europe and South America. He was also nominated for a Helen Hayes Award for his work in “Inspiration” performed at the Ford’s Theater in Washington, D.C.
Anthony’s dedication is visible in all aspects of his life, especially in serving his community. He directs four different church choirs and teaches music to students weekly. He has performed in benefit concerts at the United Nations for Tsunami victims and in Texas for Hurricane relief. He also developed the music program for the A. Phillip Randolph Institute Conference. Anthony is a classically trained pianist who was discovered by Alan Parker at the age of 18 for the film Fame. He was nominated for a Grammy Award for his work on the movie’s soundtrack.
Anthony has worked and performed with Patti LaBelle, The Clarke Sisters, and Tremaine Hawkins. He was the musical director for Melba Moore and conducted the classical production of Scott Joplin’s Treemonisha. Anthony displayed another of his many talents when he worked with Spike Lee and Michael Jackson on the music video for the album HIStory. His unique performance style and athletic endurance have been a staple for annual European tour of Queen Esther Marrow’s The Harlem Gospel Singers.
Anthony is driven by his passion for all genres of music and feels his purpose is to spread God’s message through his talents!
Victor Trent Cook:
Victor
Trent Cook, counter-tenor, began singing at the age of three in his
church home, THE HOUSE OF DAVID.As a boy alto soloist, he sang with New
York Philharmonic with such conductors such as James Levine, Zubin Mehta
and Leonard Bernstein in famous venues such as The White House,
Carnegie Hall, Avery Fisher Hall and the John F. Kennedy Center. He’s
traveled throughout Europe and Japan receiving rave reviews. His stage
credits include Off- and On Broadway, most notably Grammy award winner
and Tony, NAACP Award nominations for Smokey Joe's Cafe”. Television
credits include various soap operas, commercials and the 1988 male
vocalist $100,000.00"Star Search" winner. He’s shared the stage with
great talents, ranging from Pavarotti to Babara Streisand, Patti Labelle
and William Finn. Presently with ensemble Cook, Dixon & Young,
formerly known as Three Mo Tenors, from PBS Great Performances series.
Andrew Kaen:
Founder
and Executive Producer of Planet Heart’s annual world peace earth day
celebration which 2017 will be the tenth anniversary. He is also a
vibrational sound channel, singer/soulwriter and vibrational poet
sharing his gifts to be a connector and transmitter for world peace and

who served as a minister, author, and radio personality. His work,
based on Unity principles, focused on the divinity of all people. His
desire was that everyone would know their oneness with God. Today's

Eric
Butterworth ministered in four Unity communities: Kansas City,
Pittsburgh, Detroit and New York City. While in Detroit, the
congregation raised funds to build the Detroit Unity Temple, the largest
Unity church at that time. More than 2,000 people attended his Sunday
services each week.
In 1961, he began his ministry in New York
City. His Sunday lectures were held at Carnegie Hall, Town Hall, and
then Avery Fisher Hall in Lincoln Center, where the weekly attendance
grew to several thousand.
Butterworth authored 14 popular religious books, including "Discover the Power Within You" and "Spiritual Economics".
Butterworth’s

He will also present in his daytime footage a morphing hockey-puck sized UFO that seem to surveil us. Mike's footage of UFO’s interacting with chemplanes and commercial airliners are of special interest in this present. His recent capture of a giant serpent like entity that measures approximately between 150 feet in length and 20 feet in width charging with lightning speed at a Delta commercial airliner will leave viewers aghast. On Thursday May 20thTushka Humoc Xelup gave a statement to the 2016, 15th Session of the Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues.
Here is the text his statement:
I am thankful for this opportunity, Honorable Chair.
On the topic of Indigenous peoples agenda addressing the “First Six Steps” we must as a world indigenous / Aborigine Peoples, along with the United Nations countries, demand the United States reform policies of misidentification, Apartheid and Environmental racism against the indigenous of America.
NAAIP 2015 Accomplishments and
intent for 2016 – 2017 shall further embrace and assist individuals who
are part of reclaiming their tribal cultural identity, implementing
sustainable development platforms, while actively assisting members in
securing justice and remedy in many areas of their existence, including
land claims, custody and protection of tribal children from covert
adoption and placement outside the indigenous community.
Last
week NAAIP registered 16 delegates, all of whom stood on this floor
awaiting an opportunity to demand justice, and the ears of justice
ignored their presence. So today, I Tushka Standing Bear Xelup, speak in
their stead.
In 2015 when we attended our first session, we
were not allowed to make a statement, so this year we brought NAAOP
members from 12 different historical tribes from Northeast America, as
well as tribal leaders from Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic to
help in making a visual statement. It is unfortunate that we must attend
this forum to visually show and say to the world:
“We, the DARK ABORGINE of AMERICA, are still here.
The
people who joined me last week, but are absent today, were bloodline
family descendents of first contact American Indian principal leader,
Massasoit Ousa Mequin. Massasoit Ousa Mequin signed the first treaty
with King James, allowing the Europeans access to the lands of America.
Today by order of Royal Decree from Sagamore William “Winds of Thunder”
Guy, the Treaty of “King James and the Massasoit” is hereby rescinded.
The
direct descendants of the first contact Indigenous people in America
are not allowed to be recognized as who they are, but instead are forced
to accept methods of paper genocide, misclassification and forced U.S.
citizenship assimilated as African American and other false identities.
The
United States must allow Indigenous right to identity, for the American
Aborigine. The United States being primary creator of the United
Nations Charter in 1945, must be encouraged by the member nations and
supporters of the United Nations to change its racist policies. These
policies have continued to violate the rights of millions of ignored and
misclassified American Aborigine / Indigenous Peoples.
When
the United States of America ends its fraud, racial discrimination,
misidentification, misclassification and apartheid conditions against
its own indigenous people, then the indigenous peoples around the globe
will begin to find greater benefit through implementation of UNDRIP
policies concerning “conflict, peace and resolution”.
NAAOP
UNDRIP implementation is facilitated by well informed NAAIP members,
whose goal is and has been the uplifting of the American Aborigine
condition through implementation of UNDRIP policies concerning
“conflict, peace and resolution”.
NAAIP has also implemented
the development of two support institutions. The “American Aborigine
Council on Human Rights” (AACHR), and the “International Coalition of
Aborigine Women” (ICAW). The development of the NAAIP “American
Aborigine Council on Human Rights” (AACHR) will specifically address
long ignored issues of human rights abuses of aborigine not only in
America, both throughout the western hemisphere. The AACHR along with
the current missions of the NAAIP Aborigine Reclamation Council (ARC)
will continue to seek rights and protections for all Aborigines of the
Americas, the Caribbean, West Papua (Indonesia), Canada, Columbia and
Ethiopia. NAAIP International, in association with provisions and
protections provided within the UNDRIP and the United Nations Millennium
Development Goals and Sustainable Development Agenda structures, is
facilitating change at a micro level for American Aborigine, but change
must be supported by the appointment of a United Nations Special
Rapporteur, to enforce the guiding instruments for international
protections and implementation.

on the history of the Toltec tradition. He explains the true meaning of
the Calendar and gives insights on the transition within humanity as a
consequence of entering the time of the Sixth Sun.
He also speaks about the tools the Aztec traditions offer for healing and transformation including Lucid Dreaming and the Obsidian Mirror.

Sergio Magaña Ocelocoyotl, is
a well-known and respected healer in Mexico City, who has been
initiated into the 5,000-year-old Toltec or Toltecayotl lineage of
Mesoamerica. The tradition began with the ancient Chichimecas, who
transmitted it to Teotihuacans and then Toltecs, who then taught both
the Mayans and Aztecs. Sergio is also trained in the Tol shamanic
lineage (nahualism) of dreaming knowledge that has been passed on in the
oral tradition without interruption from master to student for 1,460
years. He is the author of 2012-2021 Dawn of the Sixth Sun and The
Toltec Secret: Dreaming Practices of the Ancient Mexicans, 2014.
He
travels extensively and has a community of over 50,000 students in
Mexico, the USA, Italy, The Netherlands, Spain and the UK. Sergio was
chosen by his Nahuatl speaking teachers to be the one to bring the
ancient knowledge of the Toltecs and Aztecs to the world. He is a
well-known and respected healer in Mexico, who has been initiated into
the 5,000-year-old Tol shamanic lineage (Nahualism) of dreaming
knowledge of the Toltec or Toltecayotl lineage of Mesoamerica.
He
is appointed by Club UNESCO to be the representative whose job it is to
preserve Mexico’s Immaterial Nahuatl Culture. He was invited to perform
the Toltec ceremony for the Winter Solstice of 2012 for UNESCO along
with seven other indigenous traditions from around the world. He is an
active presenter at many conferences worldwide, including – Gateways of
the Mind conference sponsored by the prestigious Royal Geographical
Society of London; Breaking Convention, sponsored by the University of
Kent; Mind, Body, Spirit UK and Open Center in New York City.

Rosse T. Saint Louis has researched oral histories and sacred African Diaspora dance traditions throughout the Americas. She received a Masters Degree from Teachers College, Columbia University in Comparative Education and Anthropology. She has traveled to Cuba, Brazil, Puerto Rico, Colombia, Haiti, Africa and Dominican Republic choreographing, directing, lecturing, researching and performing. She is the recipient of the Teacher’s College, Office of the President, Diversity and Community Award and a New School Multicultural Diversity Award and is a Fulbright Fellow. She performed at the International Fulbright Alumni committee in Brasilia, Brazil and at the International Black Heritage Festival in Lagos, Nigeria Africa.

He travels extensively and has a community of over 50,000 students in Mexico, the USA, Italy, The Netherlands, Spain and the UK. Sergio was chosen by his Nahuatl speaking teachers to be the one to bring the ancient knowledge of the Toltecs and Aztecs to the world. He is a well-known and respected healer in Mexico, who has been initiated into the 5,000-year-old Tol shamanic lineage (Nahualism) of dreaming knowledge of the Toltec or Toltecayotl lineage of Mesoamerica.
He is appointed by Club UNESCO to be the representative whose job it is to preserve Mexico’s Immaterial Nahuatl Culture. He was invited to perform the Toltec ceremony for the Winter Solstice of 2012 for UNESCO along with seven other indigenous traditions from around the world. He is an active presenter at many conferences worldwide, including – Gateways of the Mind conference sponsored by the prestigious Royal Geographical Society of London; Breaking Convention, sponsored by the University of Kent; Mind, Body, Spirit UK and Open Center in New York City.

Bishop Auxiliary “Grandmother” Lygia Maciel DeCastro is a wise woman and native elder whose life bridges the worlds of the four directions. Born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, she was initiated into the world of midwifery at the tender age of seven years old, raised by a family of midwives and farmers who generously shared food and clothing with the needy in their community. Surrounded by a large and loving family, her mother, aunt and grandmothers, trained her in the art of herbology and midwifery.
Every Sunday at Cherry Hill, Central Park by the Bethesda Fountain, at 10am, from the first Sunday of Spring to the first Sunday of Fall, Lygia facilitates the art of PanEuRhythmy Sacred Dance (www.PanEuRhythmy.us).
