Esther Nicholson’s Soul Recovery unlocks and heals the patens of dependence as they show u in substance abuse, food, relationships and other addiction-like behaviors that cause many of us to suffer and fail. Ester bravely shares her own inspiring journey from cocaine addiction and domestic abuse to a healthy life of wholeness, serenity and success as a speaker, teacher, practitioner, therapist and world-renowned singer with Bette Midler and Rod Stewart.
The easy-to-follow program of study and daily practice contains a powerful spiritual technology that will empower and carry you to greater fulfillment and joy, no matter what you’ve experienced, thought or done in the past. Those 12 Keys saved Esther’s life!
Soul Recovery changes life-long patterns to create a profound self-awareness that dissolves dependence-whether big or small. Its lessons and exercises are universally applicable to people of all ages and experiences.
Ester Nicholson, a celebrated vocalist formerly with Bette Midler and Rod Stewart, is a gifted speaker, teacher, spiritual therapist and former addict who has developed a unique and powerful 12-Step-informed, complimentary program for healing dependence.
The program is the result of more than a decade of work, optimizing a unique combination of spiritual practice and the 12 Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous. The program has been codified into a 12 week process in Ms. Nicholson's new book, "Soul Recovery - 12 Keys to Healing Addiction," published by Agape Media and Hay House.
Ester's life story sketches a path from humble beginnings: as the youngest child born to a Baptist minister father, growing up on Long Island (NY) then moving to Los Angeles - where she honed her addiction to crack cocaine and later found her redemption from it.

On Today’s Heart of Mind Radio show we speak to a remarkable hero in the world of sight, Meir Schneider, PhD, LMT
Meir was born blind to deaf parents in 1954 because of congenital cataracts. After five unsuccessful surgeries on the lenses of his eyes, which left him with massive scar tissue, glaucoma, cataracts, cross-sightedness and nystagmus (involuntary rapid eye movement), his doctors pronounced his condition hopeless and he was certified permanently legally blind. He performed his reading and schoolwork in Braille. Inside, he never relinquished his dream of gaining sight.
Just months before his seventeenth birthday, Meir met a teenage boy, a high school dropout, who gave him hope that his dream of seeing could be realized. He taught him the Bates Method of eye exercises. He practiced them with a diligence that probably no one had ever applied to them before, up to 13 hours a day, undeterred by the opposition and skepticism of family and physicians. Using the Bates Method as his foundation he developed many more eye exercises never heard of and created his own regimen of self-massage and movement and eventually the seven principals of natural vision improvement that he writes about in his book, Vision For Life.
Within six months of starting the exercises, he could recognize visual objects for the first time in his life; within 18 months, he could read print without glasses, holding the paper a few inches from his nose. Today, he holds a current unrestricted California driver’s license, and his vision continues to improve. From 20/2000 (able to see from one foot what a normally sighted person sees from 100 feet) to 20/60 (70% of normal vision)!
Meir began to help others with their vision problems and with a wide range of degenerative conditions, such as polio, muscular dystrophy and multiple sclerosis. Although the exercises are completely different with those conditions his belief in their ability to recover and a new outlook helped him to develop exercises that had never been tried before. He found that the same principles, which enabled him to gain functional eyesight, could be applied to the entire body. His unique approach and the unprecedented success led to his discoveries and to the creation of Meir Schneider Method of Self-Healing through Bodywork and Movement, helping tens of thousands of people with serious physical and visual conditions worldwide.

On today’s program host Kathryn Davis asks the question: “What does it mean to be Sovereign within one’s own life? Is it a legal, financial or spiritual issue? And can one be sovereign in the absence of either? And offers a commentary on her experiences over the last year in coming to an understanding of what the personal evolution of self really is like.
In the 2nd segment we feature a recording of Alan Watts giving a talk called “Insight & Ecstasy”
Alan Watts was born in London in 1915, at the start of the first World War. At a young age he became fascinated with the Far East, and at fourteen he began to write and was published in the Journal of the London Buddhist Lodge before writing his first booklet on Zen in 1932. He moved to New York in 1938 and then to Chicago, where he served as an Episcopal priest for six years before leaving the Church. In 1950, he moved to upstate New York before going on to San Francisco to teach at the Academy of Asian Studies.
After teaching at the Academy of Asian Studies in San Francisco, he became Dean and began to give regular radio talks on KFA, the Berkeley Pacifica radio station. In 1957, he published his bestselling Way of Zen, and in 1958 returned to Europe where he met with C.G. Young. He was an early subject in pioneering psychedelic trials, and, after recording two seasons of the public television series Eastern Wisdom and Modern Life, traveled to Japan several times in the early sixties. By the late sixties, he had become a counterculture celebrity, and traveled widely to speak at universities and growth centers across the US and Europe.
Alan Watts died in his sleep in November of 1973, after returning from an intensive international lecture tour.

On today’s program Kathryn presents an interview with guest David Wilcock, on his book The Source Field Investigations, The Hidden Science and Lost Civilizations behind the 2012 Prophesies. David Wilcock is a professional lecturer, filmmaker and researcher of ancient civilizations, consciousness science, and new paradigms of matter and energy. His upcoming Hollywood film CONVERGENCE unveils the proof that all life on Earth is united in a field of consciousness, which affects our minds in fascinating ways. David Wilcock hosts the program Wisdom Teachings on Gaiam TV.
In his newest book The Synchronicity Key, The Hidden Intelligence Guiding the Universe and You, David uses history, astrology, and synchronicity theory as well as concepts such as fractals, spiritual geometry, quantum physics, and other new research, Wilcock shows that there is a hidden architecture within time, guiding individuals and nations through a system of enlightenment Joseph Campbell called the Hero’s Journey. Historical events occur in shockingly precise, repeating cycles of time as a result. Once we understand and identify the hidden laws governing the fates of individuals and nations through seemingly random “synchronicity,” we are left with a remarkable blueprint of how best to lead our lives spiritually in the post-2012 world.

On Today’s program we speak to Bob Sima, The Transformational Troubadour and hear music from his new CD “PutALittleMoreLoveInTheWorld.

Center for Spiritual Living Morristown
331 Mt. Kemble Ave
Morristown, NJ 07960

What Wayne Dyer, Marianne Williamson and Jack Canfield are to books, Bob Sima is to music. Indeed he has even been called “Eckhart Tolle with a guitar.” A teacher, a guide, and a mystic using the medium of melody, Sima (pronounced sEYE-ma) creates and plays toe-tapping, hand-clapping songs that bridge daily life and soul consciousness. His music is so powerfully uplifting that audiences are genuinely awestruck, exiting as if walking on a cloud. When Sima leaves the stage, people are so deeply moved that they find it hard to express the power of what they have experienced. And many are changed forever.
Sima and his music touch the core essence common to all humans – a longing for peace and personal knowing: The need for belonging to something greater than oneself. The yearning for love in all forms – internal, external and universal. The desire to leave what was and embrace what is to come. He not only connects to his audience, the audience connects with each other. His music heals and expands the heart, transforming lives.
The unique beauty of his songs draw upon ancient wisdom and modern masters to uplift, inspire, motivate and gently nudge listeners to live life differently, to reach for something more. His songs – more a musical experience than simple melodies – navigate a way out of pain and present a beautiful picture of a new horizon.
